I recently spent a delightful weekend at Hotel Cortezo in the heart of Madrid, and I must say, it perfectly encapsulated the charm of the city while offering excellent amenities at a reasonable price. The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from iconic attractions like the Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace-ideal for a spontaneous exploration with friends. The vibrant atmosphere around the hotel is bustling with tapas bars and chic boutiques that made our nights out quite memorable. The room we booked was spacious and beautifully lit, complete with a comfortable bed and an excellent shower-definitely essential after a day of walking! The air conditioning worked wonders during the warmer hours, making our stay particularly enjoyable. One of the standout features was the complimentary buffet breakfast, which had a wonderful selection, including a gluten-free corner. On our last day, the staff provided us with an early picnic breakfast as we had to leave at dawn, showcasing their attentiveness to guest needs. With such warm and professional service, I would wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Cortezo for anyone looking to truly enjoy Madrid's vibrant culture and history. I know I'll be returning for another stay!
